One of the very best sites online to get very cheap prices, especially on flights is Hotwire. But few people know the secrets to getting the best price using this site. Then they end up just giving up and going to competitor sites and sometimes paying more.

The interface is quite simple. The catch is bidding a higher price for the flight than others. See, all airlines have a certain number of seats on their airplanes that will be empty on flights. Get an average price by adding all of the prices and dividing by the number of quotes you found, in this case it is 3. So, 982 divided by 3. gives us $327.33. That's the average price.
